Please join us for the Lake Norman Kiwanis 5K at historic Rural Hill on May 18, 2013. It's a beautiful trail race at a fantastic venue. Online registration is now closed but you may still register on race day!

Beneficiary
The net proceeds of the event will benefit the Kiwanis Musical Minds program, which gives extensive after-school music instruction to elementary-school children in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg area. The program targets children in poverty and strives to not only build valuable skills but also the spirit that will help them thrive and rise above their circumstances.

The Course
It's a gorgeous 5K on trails through the forest and fields of Rural Hill. While it is a trail race, trails are wide and well-marked, with just enough rolling hills to make it interesting.
