Event Name:

CMS R.A.C.E (Running to Assist Communities in Education) 5K Fundraiser 2020

What:

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools Community Partnerships and Family Engagement Department, along with the Northwest and Northeast Learning Communities, will host the second annual 5K Fundraiser, R.A.C.E (Running to Assist Communities in Education). The run/walk fundraiser is designed to support our students, teachers, and families in the Northwest and Northeast Learning Communities.

The event includes a Kid’s Fun Run and a 5K. Adult participants will receive a t-shirt if registration is received by March 14th. Students are encouraged to wear their school t-shirts. The charity run/walk will be officially timed, with prizes awarded for the fastest male and female adult participants, and the fastest registered participant in the 12 and under category.

When:

Saturday, April 4, 2020 @   9:00am

Packet pick up: 8am

Festivities begin at 8:30am (Show your school spirit!)

Cost and Timeline:

$25 Adults

$15 CMS Teachers and Staff

$10 Students

Free: under 4

Last day to register:  Friday, March 14th (to receive a T-shirt)

All registrations after March 14th (T-shirts not guaranteed): $25
