Description

Journey Through East Carolina is an exciting and free opportunity for people around the Diocese of East Carolina and beyond to come together to MOVE, GIVE, LEARN and PRAY in new ways. This virtual 281-mile challenge is for ALL ages and abilities! We invite everyone to walk, run, roll, ride, or row to join in on this experience through the Diocese of East Carolina!   Regardless of your participation level, we would love to know who is participating in this Journey - please sign-up so that you are sure to receive the weekly emails.  Click here to sign-up or better yet, create a team, and have others sign-up and join your team!

As we MOVE together, we will be physically transformed.

As we GIVE to our communities, our hearts will be opened.

As we LEARN about the communities in our diocese, our minds will be expanded.

As we PRAY together, our faith in God will grow.

You, or you and your team, will decide how to travel the 281-miles. What do the 281 miles represent? They are the number of miles on Highway 17 between the Virginia and South Carolina state lines. We hope you will JOIN US by walking, running, rolling, riding, rowing, or any combination of these to go the 281-mile distance in 10 weeks! That's right, this is accumulated mileage over the course of 10 weeks! So get ready, miles start on November 29th.

In addition, the Journey Though East Carolina seeks to provide a way for folks who love and care about Trinity Center to make a donation to significant capital repairs that are needed prior to the 2021 camping season. You can find more information about that part of GIVE under the donate tab of this website.
