The Cycle North Carolina Mountain Ride is a short, 2-day weekend bicycle ride that features multiple route options in and around Lake Lure. Each day will offer routes varying from a short 11 miles up to a challenging 80 miles! You can choose your route each day based on your preferences for distance, the sights, terrain, and points of interest.
Whether you ride 11 miles or 80 miles, you will travel a route supported from start to finish with SAG support, bike mechanics and fully stocked rest stops with free snacks and drinks to refuel the journey. Unlike other multi-day tours, there’s no picking up and moving camp each day so plan to stake your spot for the weekend and just enjoy the three R’s...Ride, Relax and Ride even more. For cyclists attending the 2015 Cycle NC Mountain Ride, the winding, canopy covered, stoplight-free roads with magnificent scenery will be a common luxury.
