Description

Monday, May 30, the Steve Smith Family Foundation (S2F2) is excited to host its third annual Lace Up Son Family 5K at Stumptown Park in Matthews – benefitting our child health and wellness programs. At S2F2, we are committed to keeping our youth healthy in providing opportunities that may not otherwise be afforded.

At our one-of-a-kind, Memorial Day Celebration, S2F2 will welcome active duty and veteran members of our military, the special needs community, families and friends alike. Our course will take you through the streets of downtown Matthews before ending at Stumptown Park. Bring the whole family or your best friends to this can’t-miss event. Your registration includes a custom Lace Up Son Family 5K medal, shoe laces and t-shirt.* A portion of proceeds from this event will benefit the Siskey, Simmons and Johnston YMCAs by providing programs and services to children financially unable to participate. We humbly ask you to join us in impacting the lives of the children that need it most. This race is great for families and groups of friends alike. Run or walk – the Steve Smith Family Foundation welcomes participants of all skill levels and ages.

*Custom Lace Up Son Family 5K medal, shoe laces and t-shirt are only guaranteed while supplies last. Register early to reserve your medal, laces and shirt/size.
