Description
Join us for the inaugural Winterfest 1 Mile Fun Run and 5k presented by Tryon International Equestrian Center. Register by November 21st to guarantee your race day t-shirt. Sign ups after November 21st do not guarantee a shirt.
Winterfest 1 Mile Fun Run and 5k is a FUN run/walk on Black Friday at the Tryon International Equestrian Center which will be a fun for all ages and abilities.
Registration for the race also includes one (1) free entry into Winterfest Presented by Coca-Cola powered.
Members of your party that want to experience the Holiday Drive through Light Show powered by Stuller Power Solutions can purchase extra tickets on-site for $15. (This is not required to watch the race). This is a family friendly event.
Winterfest features a dazzling drive-through light show, ice skating in Tryon Stadium, and a Winterfest Village hosted weekends in December with holiday attractions, kids activities, live music and performances, and so much more. Starting November 29th at Tryon International in Mill Spring, NC. On-site lodging is available.
Registration information:
• October 22nd - November 21st: 5K: $30 registration (includes t-shirt and one (1) free admission to Winterfest) --- 1Mile: $20 registration (includes t-shirt and one (1) free admission to Winterfest)
• November 21st and later: 5K: $45 registration (no t-shirt guaranteed) --- 1Mile: $25 (no t-shirt guaranteed)
Children in strollers are not required to register (but will not receive shirts). All ages are welcome. We encourage Thanksgiving/Winter costumes & accessories!
Day-Of Schedule
Packet pick-up will begin at 3:00 PM on race day in the General Store.
Parking
Plenty of parking in any of the lots at Tryon.

Strollers, Dogs, and Bikes
We encourage the use of jogging strollers along the route of this family-friendly course. However, out of consideration for other participants, dogs will not be allowed on the course (with the exception of service dogs). For the safety and convenience of all participants, bikes are NOT permitted.
