Description
This is a 5k event that will benefit Samaritans International. The price will be $30.00 on race day. There will be a kids fun run at 9:00AM.
Samaritans International was established in 2002 as a nonprofit charitable organization with 501(c)3 status. Our primary purpose is to support children in destitute living conditions through nutritional support.
We have established feeding centers in Nicaragua, Peru, Liberia, Malawi, Mwandi, Haiti and in Kenya. While some of these centers have been transferred to sister organizations, we continue to focus on children in Nicaragua, Haiti and Kenya. We are now partnering with the Kilgoris Project in Kenya. They have seven schools and Samaritan’s role is to provide the support for the feeding programs. We also have initiated a feeding program in Honduras in a new school located in a very poor community outside of San Pedro Sula.
