Run for Hope

Sarah Ramsey and Collins Hamer are Seniors at Robert L. Patton High School.  These two students are joining forces in completing the community service portion of their Graduation Project by serving as Co-Race Coordinators of the Run for Hope 5K.  The proceeds from this event will benefit the non-profit organization, The Hope Chest. The Hope Chest is an organization that provides needed medical and financial care to women in western North Carolina who are fighting breast cancer as well as other cancers.  Sarah and Collins have each lost a grandmother to breast cancer.  Their Senior Graduation Project is in Memory of Anne Starnes and Diane Hamer, life-long friends who both lost their fight against breast cancer. Come join in this special 5K being held at Catawba Meadows Greenway in Morganton, NC.
