Description
Downtown Rocks and Runs is an annual 5K race through Downtown Mount Airy that benefits United Fund of Surry which supports 26 local agencies in Surry County and Southern VA. The entire event is a kick-off for our annual United Fund campaign.
5K Run/Walk: Saturday, August 1 at 8:00 AM
Course is USATF certified and will be chip timed.

Registration through July 30 at 6:00 PM - $25
After July 30th, participants must complete a paper registration form and drop off at Reeves Community Center, 113 S. Renfro Street, Mount Airy NC 27030. Registration fee July 31st through race day 8/1 is $30. Teams must register online by July 30th.
The first 200 registered will receive our 2015 event t-shirt and an awesome goodie bag filled with swag.
Awards:
Awards will be presented after the race for Overall 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place Male/Female and Top 3 Male/Female Age Divisions: 13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
A Corporate Participation Challenge trophy will be awarded to the company with the highest number of Downtown Rocks and Runs 5K participants. Please specify your company name when registering for the 5K Run/Walk to be included in the challenge.
Free Kid's Fun Run starting at 8:45 AM for kids 12 and under. All Fun Runners will receive a participation ribbon.
5K Corporate Fitness Challenge
Register your company as a team with a minimum of 10 runners. Awards will be given for fastest team finish (average time of the top 10 team members). Take a trophy, photos and bragging rights for winning the Corporate Fitness Challenge to work on Monday!
The Corporate Fitness Challenge is for timed runners only. If you would like to walk with us, please choose the 5K Run/Walk registration option.
