Holly Horseshoe Trot

Welcome! We're back with our annual Holly Horseshoe Trot, a virtual 5k, and we hope you would like to start your 2023 off on the "right hoof" with Horse and Buddy! This virtual 5k can be done as a run or walk, and it's even more fun when you participate with friends + family!

Located in New Hill, N.C., Horse and Buddy is an equine therapy center that aims to to enrich the lives of children and adults with special needs through equine assisted therapies and supplemental activities in a safe and caring environment. They have over 100 riders, and an amazing staff and volunteer crew.

Unfortunately, due to the lasting effects from the pandemic, Horse and Buddy continues to face financial uncertainty about future operations. However, you can support Horse and Buddy by participating in our virtual 5K event! When you register with us to run/walk or donate to our campaign, 100% of profits will be donated to Horse and Buddy! If you follow our Instagram (@thehorseshoeproject) and DM us photos taken on your run/walk, you have a chance to be featured.
