Cougar Color Run ***Race Canceled - Full Refunds Will Be Issued***

5K RUN & 1 Mile Run/Walk

Who is ready for a Color Run?! That's right, come on out on April 27th and participate in our second annual color run at Croatan High School hosted by the Croatan Athletic Boosters Club. Our goal for this event is to celebrate the idea of having FUN, while being fit, and supporting high school athletics through the Croatan Athletic Boosters Club. Registration is open now and we hope to see you running wild with color. Please Note: We welcome runners who do not want to run in the color powder. We have a path set up around the color stations for each race. 

COLOR RUN COSTUMES

White shirts are the standard uniform for any color run. We will be including a white t-shirt for all registrations before April 12, 2024. You are not limited to the standard white t-shirt. Feel free to add in crazy socks, tutus, hats, etc...

RACE EVENT CANCELLATION

We are, at times, at the mercy of the unforeseeable circumstances that are beyond Croatan Athletic Boosters Club's control, and as such, CABC must have the ability to postpone or cancel these events when health and safety concerns (or other unforeseeable acts) warrant.

Weather: Unusually hot, humid, wet, cold, or icy conditions may cause the postponement or cancellation of a race. If rain is not persistent and has not compromised the race path, the race event will continue. However, if the following occurs: the existence of visible lighting, strong or dangerous wind conditions, hail, heavy rain, and flooding. The event will be postponed until a later date and time. All participant(s), sponsors, vendors, or others who have expended funds on the race will be notified. 

CHECK-IN & MORE

Please check in to the race table 30 minutes prior to your race to ensure that you have received your t-shirt (if registered by April 12th) and the race path information.

REGISTRATION FEE DETAILS

$30 per entrant (including a free t-shirt if registered before April 12, 2024)

AWARDS

Top 50 5K finishers will receive an event "Finisher Medal".  All 1 Mile Fun Run participants will receive a "Fun Run" medal.

RACE DAY INFO

Parking is located behind the high school near the athletic fields. 
8:00 AM – Check-In Open up to 15 minutes before the race (5K can check-in early and cheer for 1 Mile or arrive later)
8:40 AM – Entrants Color Fun Party (near starting line)
8:50 AM – 1 Mile Entrants to starting line
9:00 AM – 1 Mile Fun Run Starts (All 1 Mile finishers will receive a "Fun Run" medal)
9:20 AM – 5K Entrants to the starting line
9:30 AM – 5K Color Run (Top 50 finishers receive an event finisher medal)
