Description
The 3rd Annual Great Commission 5K is hosted by Sandy Plain OFWB Church to help support short term and local ministry projects. This past year we were able to fund a mission project to Brazil from the 5K that we had last November. Sandy Plain Church was able to send 5 members to Brazil on an Evangelistic Mission Trip. This group was able to go into three different cities and minister door to door, VBS and on the streets spreading the gospel. We feel that future trips will grow in number and we want to help provide the financial support for each person that is called by God.
Our 5K Run/Walk will be the same route that we did last November. The starting locations for all events will be at Sandy Plain Church.
ENTRY FEES:
5K Walk/Run – strollers are welcomed at no cost
$25.00 pre-registration
To be guaranteed a T-shirt and bag you must be registered by Oct. 21, 2017.
Pre-registration is from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. on Nov. 3rd at Sandy Plain Church
Race day registration is from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM
TIMING:
Electronic bib timing by Run the East LLC. All entrants must pick up bib tags at registration the morning of the run.
Race t-shirts and bags are provided to all participants that pre-register by Oct. 21st.

Awards and Special recognition
Medallions will be given for the following age groups: 2-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, & 60-120. Special recognization will be given to the youngest, oldest, fastest & the most determined runner/walker.
