Jordan Lake · Seaforth Access, Pittsboro NC Friday, August 14 – Sunday, August 16, 2026

Join the Without Limits team for a weekend of coached open-water swimming, hill riding, clinics, and a team cookout at Jordan Lake.

The Weekend at a Glance

  • Dates: Fri, Aug 14 – Sun, Aug 16, 2026
  • Location: Seaforth Beach Park, Pittsboro
  • Cost: $125 per athlete 
  • Included: Swim clinic + all coached sessions
  • Not included: Lodging & meals (on your own)

Camp highlights:

  • Open-Water Swim Clinic — Sat 8:00 AM, with Coach Marty Gaal
  • Group Ride (Hills) — Sat 1:00 PM, choose 24.4 or 48.8 miles
  • Climbing & Bike Maintenance Clinics — Sat 12:30 & 4:30 PM
  • Team Cookout — Sat 6:00 PM, bring your own to grill (WOL will provide Hot Dogs and Hamburgers)
  • Optional Group Run — Sun 6:00 AM, if staying over

Friday PM — Arrival

  • Check-in / set up camp

Saturday AM — Swim Clinic

  • 8:00–9:00 — Lecture: Open-water racing & training
  • 9:00–9:30 — Starts, turns, finishes
  • 9:30–10:00 — Sighting & drafting
  • 10:30–11:15 — Swim training for triathlon
  • 11:15–11:30 — Q&A

Saturday PM — Bike & Social

  • 12:00 PM — Lunch (bring your own)
  • 12:30 PM — Lecture: Hill Climbing & Descending
  • 1:00 PM — Group Bike Ride
  • 4:30 PM — Bike Maintenance Clinic
  • 6:00 PM — Team Cookout: BYO burgers, dogs, beer & beverages (WOL will provide Hot Dogs and Hamburgers)

Sunday AM — Optional

  • 6:00 AM — Group run
  • 10:00 AM — Departure

Open Water Swim Clinic

Open-Water Swim Clinic Details

Itinerary:

  • 8:00–9:00 — Lecture: Open-water racing & training
  • 9:00–9:30 — Open-water starts, turns & finishes
  • 9:30–10:00 — Sighting, drafting & handling anxiety
  • 10:00–10:30 — Supervised open-water swimming
  • 10:30–11:15 — Lecture: Swim training for triathlon
  • 11:15–11:30 — Q&A — clinic concludes

Bike Route

A 24 rolling loop north of Seaforth Beach Park through Farrington Road and Governors Club. Great for a steady aerobic ride. Faster riders may choose to ride 2 loops of this course for ~48 miles.

Cycling Coaches: Chris Post, Alecia Williams, Brad Peffer, and David McBride.  All with years of cycling experience to help you improve your riding skills.

Run Route

Optional · Sunday 6:00 AM

An easy shake-out run for athletes staying over Saturday night. We'll share the final route and distance closer to camp — on-course hydration will be provided.


Fuel & Meals + Lodging

We've got you on course. Without Limits provides nutrition and hydration for the group bike rides and the run. Just show up ready to train — we'll keep you fueled out on course.

Meals are on your own. Breakfasts, lunches, and dinners are your responsibility. We'll set dedicated times and meeting spots so the team can head out and eat together throughout the weekend.

Saturday Team Cookout — 6:00 PM. Bring your own hamburgers, hot dogs, and sides to grill. It's our team social to close out the day of training.
