Cemetery History Run

Join us on Saturday, August 3rd for a guided run while learning about the history of a couple of Raleigh's Cemeteries. The run will begin at the City Cemetery of Raleigh where run leader, Sharon, will share some of the history about the cemetery. The run will continue towards Historic Oakwood Cemetery where the group will tour the different sites of the cemetery before returning to the starting point

Details

The will be around 3 miles total and participants must be able to maintain ~11min/mile pace in order to finish the run in a timely manner and keep the group together. Unfortunately dogs will not be allowed at the run as they are not permitted on cemetery grounds. Additionally, strollers may be difficult to navigate over the grassy areas. Be sure to bring water for before, after, and during the run.
