Fleet Feet x Altra Pumpkin Pie Mile

Have you ever wondered how fast you can run a mile..... while eating pumpkin pie? Well, now you can put your speed and pie eating skills to the test at the Fleet Feet x Altra Pumpkin Pie Mile! Join us on Saturday, November 18th at House Creek Trail for a truly unique race experience! There will be giveaways, raffles, demo shoe options and pumpkin pie (obviously!).

We will meet at Fleet Feet Raleigh (at Ridgewood shopping center) and walk over to the House Creek Trail trailhead to start the race by 8am.

Race details: There will be three heats for our mile. A competitive, non-competitive and fun run (no pumpkin pie). The race will start at the trailhead of House Creek Trail and continue on to the greenway. You will turn around at our marked point (.12 or 200 meters in). You will consume one piece of pumpkin pie for every quarter mile you run (including one at the start of the race, 4 total). Whoever crosses the finish line first will be the winner! This is not an official race but it will be hand timed.

Awards and raffles: The winner of each heat (per gender) will receive a custom, one of a kind, Altra trophy! All runners will be eligible for a free pair of Altra shoes if you demo a pair in the race! Each runner that does will receive a raffle ticket for a chance at the free pair. If you win your heat in a pair of Altra demo shoes, you will receive an extra raffle ticket. Awards and raffles will take place after the last heat.

The event is 100% free to attend and will start at 8am (we recommend arriving closer to 7:30am to secure your demo shoes, and to prepare for the run!). The run will be capped at 50 people!
