Sweetheart 5k presented by the Dental Care Center:
Through a partnership with the Rocky Mount Parks and Recreation Department, the Tar River Running Company wants to welcome all of the runners, volunteers, and sponsors. Runners can enter as an idividual and a couple. Couples are still eligible for individual awards. For the couple's prizes we will combine times and give awards based on combined age groups. We look forward to seeing you all on race day.
This 5k course runs through the Candlewood and Greystone communities of Rocky Mount. Both Candlewood and Greystone neighborhoods are favorites to the local runners. The quiet, tree-lined streets are some of the most peaceful places to run. Gentle rolling hills offer a change of pace from what is normally found in Rocky Mount. Come join us for the fun and festivities!
