Teens With A Mission 5K and Superhero 1/2 Mile Fun Run

The TWAM 5K and Superhero 1/2 Mile Fun Run will be held in Salisbury, North Carolina, on Friday May 3rd 2019. The Fun Run will start at 7:30 p.m. followed by the 5K at 8:00 p.m. Friday evening. Both races start and end at First Presbyterian Church.  This is the 14th year for this 5K race and the 9th year on our race course through beautiful downtown, historic Salisbury, which is USATF certified. It is designed to appeal to walkers, joggers, casual runners, competitive runners and elite runners.  Appealing to each level of fitness is a great representation of the sport.  Fun Run participants are encouraged but not required to dress in their favorite superhero outfit for the Fun Run.  

All funds raised during this event will go to the work of Teens With A Mission, which is taking a group of senior high students and youth advisors to Mexico in the summer of 2019 to build homes for a families in need and reach out to the community to share God’s love. TWAM also volunteers in Salisbury at Rowan Helping Ministries and with Food For Thought throughout the year locally.
