Description
Make the Spruce Pine Skedaddle 5K and Fun Run a regular stop on your July calendar! This new event starts and finishes on the campus of Blue Ridge Regional Hospital in Spruce Pine, North Carolina, and coincides with the annual Spruce Pine BBQ Championship & Bluegrass Festival.
Course Information
The 5 kilometer course starts and finishes at Blue Ridge Regional Hospital. Along the way, you'll travel through the town of Spruce Pine, take in the sights, sounds, and smells of the Spruce Pine BBQ Championship and Bluegrass Festival.
The course itself is generally considered hilly, with some flat sections. USATF certification is pending.
