5k for Relay Common Ground Trail and Fun Run

Description:  The 5k for Relay will be held on Friday, May 9th, 2014 at Common Grounds trail, which is next to First United Methodist Family Life Center in Stanley, NC.  The 5k will begin at 7:00pm.

5k Run Course:  The 5k Run course begins and ends at Common Grounds.  This is a trail race and most of the run will be on grass/dirt trails.  The run is very beginner friendly, great for both adults and children. 

Timing System:  The 5k trail run will be timed using chip timing.  The Kids Fun Run will not be a timed event.

Packet Pick-Up:  Race day packet pick up only .  Packet pick up will begin at 5:00pm-6:30pm on Friday, May 9th, 2014 at First United Methodist Church Resource Life Building.  The race begins promptly at 7:00pm.

Awards and Age Divisions:  There will be an overall male and overall female winner for the 5k.

There will be 1st place awards for the following age groups:

10 and under     20-29    50-59
11-14                30-39    60-69
15-19                40-49    70+
