Encouraging the Nations 5k

Fun, flat course at Statesville Recreation Center.  Great course for beginners and a great place for experienced runners to get a new PR! Mostly paved with some beautiful areas of scenery!

We will be taking off some gifts from our sponsors at the awards ceremony!

Why run here??

Encouraging the Nations is a non-profit, which was incorporated in North Carolina in 2018 in order to provide international support for missions.  The vision is to Go North,  South,  East, and West helping people to lift their burdens through empowering and encouraging them through the love of Christ.  Ben and Martha Dobson of Statesville, NC have worked primarily in Uganda, Africa.   Ben and Martha have a great love for missions and have been traveling and ministering for 11 years. Ben and Martha have been working in Uganda for 11 years.  Since 1995 they have done over 20 mission trips in North and South America, Europe, and Africa.

Funds raised for Encouraging the Nations go to help facilitate the building of the Rehoboth Christian Village Orphanage  and the support of 85 orphans.  Martha and Ben partner with Pastor Robert Kaawha and Rehoboth Christian Fellowship in order to develop this orphanage.  In addition,  funds raised will also support a team traveling to Uganda to minister in a 3 day women's conference,  a pastor's conference,  a kid's crusade,  and a medical clinic at the orphanage from May 27, 2025 through June 7, 2025.
