Lacing Up For A Cure 5k

The Lacing Up For A Cure 5K run/walk is being sponsored by Iredell Memorial Hospital with the goal being to raise community awareness of cancer prevention, treatment, and survival. One hundred percent of the profits from this race will be donated to the Iredell Health Foundation Cancer Care & Patient Support Fund. This fund provides various types of financial assistance to patients as they navigate their cancer journey. By eliminating some of their financial burden, patients can focus more fully on their cancer treatment and recovery. This 5K is for walkers or runners.

Medals will be provided for overall men and women 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers, as well as in each age group, age groups will be in 5 year increments unless otherwise stated: 12 & under, 13-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, and Masters 65 and older
