Race Update: (2/16/21) We are confident that this event will be able to take place. We are working on race plans for a Covid safe, live event. As we get closer to race day we will continue to update athletes. As we continue to work with local officials and the marina please click here to see what steps may be taken to make sure this race takes place and our Covid date if necessary. While we cannot predict what April will look like in terms of the current pandemic, we are committed to doing everything we can to host a live event. Please make sure you are aware of our refund policy (found both on the registration page and under our rules page) prior to signing up. We hope to see everyone in April!
This race has us more excited than most this year, mainly because this was the first event Richard competed in when we moved down to North Carolina over a dozen years ago! Benji and Hope at Jones Racing have created an amazing event at Belews Lake and we are excited to be taking the torch and continuing the tradition in 2021! Things will look very much as they have in previous years with this event, and that is a great thing! We will have both an Olympic and a Sprint distance event, and the race will be a time trial start. The date move to late April will allow for warmer waters, but still pleasant air temps for the run portion of the race. It also fits in perfectly with our Multisport Race Series giving us events every month from February through October!
Distances:
There will not be any race day registration for the 2021 event. Please register by midnight on April 23rd.
