The OMKC 7th Annual Non-Runners Run

On Saturday November 15th 2025, Operation Military Kids Club (OMKC) will be hosting the 7th annual Non-Runners Run, but this year we are adding a 1.5 mile option!  

Cost is $30 for ages 18 and older        $10 for  ages 5-17      Under 5 is FREE

This race is a half mile in distance with a donut/water stop at the half way mark. Those who sign up for the 1.5 mile will continue  on until  the full mile is completed.  All registered participants 21 and over will receive a ticket for a free beer at the Salty Turtle at the end of the race.  Root beer will be provided for those 20 and under.  The course starts at 10:00am at Faith Harbor United Methodist Church (14201 NC Hwy 50   Surf City, NC 28445) and ends at The Salty Turtle (103 Triton Lane Surf City, NC 28445).   All participants will receive a t-shirt if signed up 2 weeks before the event starts (by November 1st).

This race is stroller and wheelchair friendly.  No dogs, with the exception of service dogs, are allowed on the race course.  Awards will be given to the most patriotic attire/costumes.
