October is breast cancer awareness month, as such, we at Harris Regional and Swain Community Hospitals are honored to serve brave women in this battle. We are thrilled to be expanding services in breast care, better allowing us to serve the strong and courageous individuals who trust us to care for them.
We are proud to announce the first virtual WNC Warriors for Breast Cancer 5K walk or run event! The 5K will run for a two week period during the month of October, allowing participants to walk or run on their own time and schedule. We hope that you will share with us on social media who you are running or walking in honor of during this special time. Breast cancer awareness is a beautiful time for us to honor those who have lost their battle with this horrible disease and celebrate those who continuously battle it. Join us in celebrating!
