Norris G. Hunt Race to Benefit The Lung Transplant Foundation

In 2001, Norris G. Hunt was diagnosed with pulomnary fibrosis, a scarring of the lungs.  Through the work of Duke University Hospital, Norris received a double lung transplant.  Norris will celebrate 5 years post-transplant and her 70th birthday at race time!  All proceeds from the 5k race and family fun run are to benefit The Lung Transplant Foundation whose mission is to promote and fund research to improve the post-lung transplant experience and long-term outcomes specifically for patients of Duke University and UNC Hospitals.
