DATE CHANGE: October 22, 2022 - in person; October 22-27 - virtual
It’s prom season y’all! Join us for the Bad Prom 5k! Wear your old prom dress, suit, or tuxedo shirt and run/ walk your way through downtown Wake Forest or sign up for the virtual option and strut your stuff in your own neighborhood. Our best dressed in-person guests will have the opportunity to be voted prom king/ prom queen for the day. Winners will be announced after the race.
Bad Prom 5k t-shirts are available for an additional charge and are limited!
Proceeds benefit the Wake Forest Baptist Church Youth Summer Mission Trip. WFBCY will be traveling to Kentucky to help with disaster relief efforts from the tornadoes in December of 2021. You can support through participation in the Bad Prom 5k and/or by donating to WFBCY’s Summer Mission Trip efforts.
Participants can pick up their items Friday from 5-7 PM
or
Saturday morning until 5 minutes before the race begins.

Now- Race Day: $30 per in-person participants
Now- Race Day: $25 for virtual participants
COURSE DESCRIPTION
Starts and ends at Wake Forest Baptist Church. The route explores downtown as well as goes through some of the local neighborhoods along the way.
