Main Street Mile

Western North Carolina's Fastest, Flattest one-mile race down Main Street in Waynesville is taking place on Saturday evening, August 17! The event will raise money for REACH of Haywood County, which assists individuals suffering from domestic violence, dating abuse, sexual assault, or elder abuse. The Main Street Mile is a cherished road race down the historic section of Main Street, starting one mile south of the Haywood County Courthouse.   FREE POST RACE PARTY FEATURING LIVE MUSIC, FOOD, DRINKS, LOCAL CRAFT BEER, AND KIDS’ GAMES!

Pre-Registration Packet Pick-up Friday, August 16, 5:30-8 PM at 2311 Community Fitness, – HWY 209; turn left at the light at Old Clyde Rd into Haywood Office Park, the backside of Building B.  Address 13 Haywood Office Park, Bldg B Ste 110 Waynesville, NC 28785

Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup 5-6 pm in the United Community Bank parking lot, 165 N. Main Street Waynesville, NC 28785

Race Heats:

· 6:30 PM – Age 0-11 male and female

· 6:50 PM – Female over 18

· 7:10 PM – Age 12-18 male and female

· 7:30 PM – Male over 18 

Awards:

·        Overall Male & Female, Overall Masters Male & Female, Overall Male & Female Under 19

Top 3 males and females in age groups: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & Over
