The program awards 2 year scholarships to selected 6th grade students upon completion of 10 community service hours every school year until graduation. The amount of support provided to the students throughout their middle and high school years goes far beyond the community service opportunities. The NCS Program Director monitors, tracks and guides the students throughout their education, leading them in the right to direction to achieve and succeed in life.
The mission of Communities In Schools is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.
