Description
The Cape Fear Volunteer Center is hosting the Annual Azalea Festival Extended 5K/10K/1 mile Fun Run that benefi ts the Big Buddy Program. The event will be held at Greenfield Lake Park, April 5, 2017 at 5:00 p.m.
All of the proceeds from this event will bene t the Cape Fear Volunteer Center's Big Buddy program. The mission of Cape Fear Volunteer Center is to match volunteers and agencies with service opportunities in the Cape Fear Region. They provide trained volunteers and resources through direct and indirect services, such as programs like Big Buddy. Big Buddy is a one-on-one mentoring program that matches “at-risk” youth ages 5-16 in New Hanover County, Brunswick and Pender counties with positive adult role models. Any support from the local community and corporate sponsors is greatly needed and appreciated.

Packets can be picked up at 214 Walnut Street, Wilmington, NC on April 4th between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. Packets can also be picked up on the day of the Race at Greenfield Lake Park at 3:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m.
