Cape Fear Tri/City Bicycle Co. Indoor Bike Fundraiser for George Saunders

The Cape Fear Triathlon Club and City Bicycle Company have once again teamed up to offer an indoor bike ride appropraite for all levels of riders.  All money raised from the event will go to help George Saunders recover.  George was the victim of a hit and run crash that occurred on NC 210 near Mooretown Road in Rocky Point on Friday, February 23rd.  George has been a great representative for cycling in the Cape Fear Region and has a long and expensive road to what we are sure will be a full recovery.

Join us to help George and to raise awareness about road cycling, it's dangers, and how cyclists and motorists alike can work together to make the region a much safer place for all.  Let's ride!!

We will be using smart trainers and racing in heats.  The trainers will adjust the difficulty based on the course elevation changes. The course will be a moderately difficult somewhat hilly route that will take between 30 to 40 minutes to complete.  You will control how fast/hard it is to pedal.  The harder the resistance the quicker you will finish!  Remember, this will be intended for any level of rider so don't be shy and come on out.  Just bring your bike and shoes, we will do the rest!  Please contact Trent at trent@capefeartri.com with any questions.
