EmergeOrtho 5k

The EmergeOrtho 5K is the end of the season celebration 5k race for Girls on the Run, Heart & Sole, and STRIDE participants. Come join boys and girls, grades 3rd-8th, as they celebrate their accomplishments of the season! A fun and festive atmosphere, EmergeOrtho 5K celebrates friends, family and wellness! Public runners are welcome as this race provides much needed scholarships for future Girls on the Run and STRIDE participants. Professional race production by the YMCA of Southeastern North Carolina and timing by Full Send Racing ensures a fun, safe, and accurate 5k race experience!

IN-PERSON 5K:

SATURDAY, MAY 22 at Mayfaire Town Center from 8:00am-9:30am, with various start times. 

We are excited to be able to hold an IN-PERSON version of the EmergoOrtho 5K. The COVID 19 pandemic has forced us to make a few event format changes and to put safeguards in place for everyone’s comfort and safety. Participant and volunteer peace of mind and safety are paramount in our planning and execution. In order to ensure a successful race, we ask that you carefully read the IN-PERSON INFO/COVID GUIDELINES section of our website and familiarize yourself with this year’s Event Format changes. We will continue to monitor safety recommendations and any further race modifications will be posted here.

VIRTUAL RACE OPTION

1. Run Anywhere.
With the EmergeOrtho5K Virtual Option,  you can run anywhere!  Recruit your friends and family to join the fun no matter where they live.  

2. Run Anytime.
Complete the the EmergeOrtho 5K  anytime between May 21- May 29

3. Compete with friends and family far and wide AND have crowd support and cheers from all over.

4. Your Registration Includes:

Girls on the Run and STRIDE participants  and coaches do not need to register for 5k. Participants are already registered with program registration.

Race shirts are guaranteed to the first 300 participants who register! As with all races, EmergeOrtho 5K organizers will try to the best of their ability to provide runners the size they have requested, however availability of specific sizes cannot be guaranteed.
