Kappa Delta Theta Xi Shamrock Virtual 5k Run

The Theta Xi chapter of Kappa Delta will host its Shamrock Virtual 5k Run to raise money for Prevent Child Abuse America and locally support the Carousel Center in New Hanover County. The Shamrock Project is a national Kappa Delta program, that both college and alumnae chapters support to raise money for national and local child abuse prevention organizations. Eighty percent of the proceeds will go to local agencies with the remaining twenty percent going to the National Committee for the Prevention of Child Abuse. The NCPCA will use donated funds to continue their efforts to increase nationwide public awareness of child abuse. In cooperation with University of North Carolina at Wilmington and in an effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19, Kappa Delta’s 5k Run will be virtual. This means that participants may run the race from any location of their choice, and they will have from Monday, March 21 to Wednesday, April 14 to complete the race.

We have an attached link below for registrants to donate or purchase a t-shirt! If you are just purchasing a t-shirt then put the amount of the t-shirt in the donation box and include your size in the notes box.

Race Registration Closes: Wednesday, April 14th, 2021. 

Race Day Instructions: Please feel free to complete the 5k run anytime between March 21 and April 14. The race should be completed from any location of your choice!
