THE RACE

The LINQ Cares Back to School Sprint is a 5K event that celebrates teachers, students, and school staff in the Wilmington and surrounding areas.

LINQ Cares is the community outreach initiative of EMS LINQ, a Wilmington-based software company whose products support school administration professionals across the U.S.  All sponsorships and proceeds will go toward prizes for local schools.

The focus of the race is to celebrate and support the local K-12 community, promote a healthy lifestyle, and create excitement around the school year.

THE COURSE

Long Leaf Park - Shelter 5

Wilmington, NC 28409

The LINQ Cares Back to School Sprint takes place at Long Leaf Park in Wilmington, North Carolina.  The course is flat through the park.  5K participants will run/walk the loop twice, while 1.5 mile participants will run/walk the loop once.

The course is stroller friendly.
