THE RACE

Get together on Global Running Day with The Big Run!

We're excited to get together with our friends and running/walking community at Long Leaf Park.

This year's event will include music, racing, prizes, raffles, post-run refreshments, and more!  

Help us celebrate while we raise money to send kids to cross country camp. Each year, campers leave camp with greater confidence, a new love of running, and lots of new friends from all over the country.

RACE SWAG

Run Together Big Run shirts are available for $8 during registration.  Be sure to purchase your shirt by May 10, 2023, when the order is placed.

All registered participants will get a 10 percent off coupon to Fleet Feet Wilmington.

The race will include music and post-race refreshments.

THE COURSE

Long Leaf Park, Shelter 6

Wilmington, NC 28409

Run or walk the popular paved trail at Long Leaf Park in Wilmington, North Carolina.  This is a double loop 5K course of the park.  The course is stroller and wheelchair friendly.  For everyone's safety, dogs are not allowed at the race.

In addition to awards for the Wilmington event, local runners may compete against participants in other Big Run 5Ks across the country for a chance to win Fleet Feet National Prizes. More information is available in the Schedule section.

HELP STUDENTS GET TO CAMP

While we celebrate Global Running Day, help us raise money for athlete scholarships for the Without Limits Youth Cross Country Camp this summer.

The camp is designed to encourage athletes through positive reinforcement, in picturesque settings, with a goal to make running fun while preparing for the upcoming season.

Each year, athletes leave camp with greater confidence, a new love of running, and lots of new friends from all over the country.
