This year we have the opportunity to do some new and exciting things with this years William H. Craig Race for Life.
NEW COURSE DISTANCES
This year we are changing up our course distances and bringing to you a 9 mile race and an 18 mile race! Both starting and ending at Amphitheater Dr., these races will loop the whole way around Greenfield Lake and give you a challenge like you haven't seen yet this year!!
FLEXIBLE START TIMES
In order to be in compliance with Governor Cooper's executive order to limit mass gatherings we will be offering flexible start times so you can select the start time which best fits your schedule. We have 50 spots at each start time. During the registration process you will be able to select your wave. Results and awards will be based on all 9 mile runners regardless of wave.
Wave 1- 8:00AM - 18 Mile and 9 Mile Distances
Wave 2 - 10:00AM - 9 Mile Distance
The 18 mile race can also be ran as a relay with 2 participants each running a 9 mile leg!
With a fun and festive atmosphere, William H. Craig Race for Life celebrates friends, family and wellness! All runners are welcome as this race provides much needed scholarships for Girls on the Run, STRIDE, and other youth development programs supported by the Bill Craig Memorial Fund. Professional race production by the YMCA of Southeastern North Carolina and timing by Set Up Events ensures a fun, safe, and accurate race experience!
