Outrun Violence 5k Cancelled
After careful consideration, we have made the decision to cancel this year’s Outrun Violence 5K.
While we were excited to bring this event to our community, current registration and sponsorship levels do not allow us to host the event in a sustainable way.
We are thankful for those who supported, shared, and planned to participate. This does not change our commitment to serving youth and families in our community.
We’re already thinking about new ways to engage and hope you’ll stay connected with us moving forward.
Registrants have the option to have money refunded back to them. Thanks for your support, and understanding.

Youth Collaborative is dedicated to empowering young people in our community to overcome the challenges of violence, poverty, and limited opportunities. Through mentorship, education, and enrichment programs, we provide a safe and supportive environment where youth can build skills, confidence, and positive connections.
Proceeds from the Outrun Violence 5K directly support our programs that help youth develop leadership, resilience, and pathways to success. By participating in this race, you’re not just running, you’re helping to create a safer, stronger community and giving young people the tools they need to thrive.
