About Pursuit of Balance Nonprofit

Pursuit of Balance (POB)is a 501(c)3 non-profit institution designed to support the mental well-being of both children and the school community that surrounds the child. We do this by teaching necessary life skills and tools that support psychological and emotional health. Since its inception, the POB course has been modified for children of all ages and incorporated into school curriculum, afterschool programs, and summer camp activities.

Many of us are aware of the mental health crisis that we’re seeing across the globe. Recent statistics have shown alarming rates of depression, anxiety, and suicide among children as young as seven years old. Through personal development programs like Pursuit of Balance, we can effectively address the urgency to improve the social and emotional well-being of both children and the adults who nurture and surround them.

Through the non-profit, we’ve even been able to offer scholarships to education professionals who found the course insightful and instrumental in their growth as educators, all thanks to donations like yours.
