Niger Marathon

The Niger Marathon takes place in the capital city of Niamey. The course consists of multiple loops on the promenade along the Niger River. The run begins and ends at the race headquarters hotel, Grand Hotel du Niger. This Marathon is a substitute for the Niamey Marathon which was canceled on October 13, 2024. Registration is free and there are no T-shirts or finisher awards. Participants must sign a release and wear a timing device. You must confirm your finishing time with the race officials.  The generous cutoff time is 8 hours. The run is self-supported with only one aid station at the Grand Hotel du Niger.
