Description
Children’s Hospital & Medical Center and Suburban Rotary present the third annual Monster Mash Walk/Run to scare away childhood obesity on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2015, at Rockbrook Village.
Monster Mash is open to all ages, and Halloween costumes are welcome. In addition to the one-mile walk, 5K run and kids dash, participants will enjoy vendors and interactive activities, face painting, music and more. Treat bags for kids will be provided.
Proceeds from Monster Mash benefit childhood obesity prevention programs at Children's. Funds raised support programs and services that help children live healthier lives.
On-site registration begins at 9:30 a.m. The kids dash begins at 10:45 a.m., with the walk and run kicking off at 11 a.m. The course begins and ends at Body Basics Fitness Equipment in Rockbrook Village, 108th and West Center Road, Omaha. It winds through the welcoming yet challenging hills and streets of the Rockbrook neighborhood. Healthy snacks and beverages will be provided at the finish line.
