NKC Paws Against Hunger Virtual Charity Walk/Run

Lace up, leash up and help fight pet hunger. Let’s have some fun!

This is the Nebraska Kennel Club's 1st Virtual Charity Walk/Run event. Choose your own distance whether it’s a 5k, 10K or more. Choose your own pace. Don’t forget your furry friend. Registrations begins May 1, 2021 and ends June 15, 2021. Once registration closes, the event goodies will be mailed approximately 3 weeks after registration ends.

With people struggling to provide food for their families, they also have struggled to provide food for their pets. All profits from this virtual event will be donated to Food Bank for the Heartland. They provide for pet food and supplies to communities in Nebraska and Iowa as well as food for struggling families.

Each Paws Against Hunger participant will receive a t-shirt, a military-style dog tag medal and a dog poo pouch for some cool doggie swag.

Please sign up here to support this local community charity. Once your registration is complete. Just grab your four-legged friend(s) and start strolling. There is no deadline to complete the walk/run and there’s no need to report your time. We would love to see your photos of you enjoying the outdoors with your furry friend.
