Description
This 4.2 mile family-friendly run/walk will take place at Zorinsky Park (Shelter 2) in honor Pat Tillman, an NFL football player who left his professional career after September 11th to enlist in the military. He was killed in action in April 2004. All money goes directly to the Pat Tillman Foundation, which provides scholarships to military veterans. Every year we have several Tillman Scholars who participate in the run and its awesome to hear how the scholarship has helped change their lives.
