Description
There are three distances: 1M, 5K, and 8M. Chip Timing and Results conducted by Precision Race Results. Proceeds benefit Prague Volunteer Fire & Rescue.
The race begins at Czechland Lake, just north of Prague on Hwy 79. Participants will run/walk along the scenic old railroad that stretches along the lake and continues west to the ghost town of Rescue. All pre-registered participants will receive a Run To Rescue T-shirt (must be registered by July 24). Participants will be running in conjunction with Prague's annual celebration, Beer Barrel Days.
A post-race gathering will include refreshments and Door Prizes! Medals will be awarded to top male & female finishers in age categories. NEW FOR 2015: Cash Prizes awarded to best overall finishers; $100 for 8M and $75 for 5K. All participants receive free drink in the Beer Barrel Days Beer Garden.

Packet Pickup
Packet Pick-up will be at the Prague Fire Hall, 109 S. Railway Ave., from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 7. Packet Pickup and Late Entry will be held at the middle entrance of Czechland Lake under the covered picnic area from 7:00 to 7:30 a.m. on Race Day. Registrations processed after August 5th will not be chip timed.
