Great Plains Gravel Triathlon

A grassroots, homegrown gravel style triathlon. Elevate your triathlon experience by going off road and racing on the rolling hills in the heart of the United States!

Centered around Branched Oak State Park - just outside Lincoln, Nebraska, athletes of all abilities will tackle a 1000 meter swim, 30 ish mile GRAVEL bike ride and 6 ish mile trail run.

Categories include:

• Individual - Olympic Triathlon
  • Awards will be given for the top 3 finishers of each 5 year age group (USAT Standard)
• Elite / Open Division
  • Top 3 male and female athletes eligible for prizes
• Mountain Bike - Olympic Triathlon
  • Awards will be given for the top 3 finishers of each 5 year age group (USAT Standard)
• Relay Team - Olympic Triathlon
  • Awards will be given to the top three overall teams
• Athena & Clydesdale - Olympic Triathlon
  • Categories will be based on USAT recommendations:
    • Athena / Clydesdale 39 & under
    • Athena 40-54
    • Clydesdale 40-59
    • Athena 55+
    • Clydesdale 59+
  • All C/A athletes shall remain in their respective five year age group divisions and be eligible for regular age group awards

The Great Plains Gravel Triathlon is USAT sanctioned, participants will be required to enter their USAT member ID or one day pass. One day pass is $15.
