We would like to announce that the 2020 Valley 7 Lakes Marathon and Half Marathon has converted to a Virtual Run. The events will be non scored. We will be mailing swag to all registered runners. Taking into account all of the planning and preparation that is coordinated within our organization and with our partners in the community, unfortunately postponement is not an option. We are a small Nebraska 501 (c) 3 not for profit. With the support of our sponsors and community, we pride ourselves in our commitment to bring a world class race with small town charm to the running community for years to come. We must uphold our no refund and no deferment policy. The time and effort that goes into planning for race weekend are significant and irreversible.
2020 Virtual Race
All entries will be automatically entered into the Virtual Run. All you need to do is run your race wherever you want, between Saturday April 25th and Saturday May 31st. Please follow all safety measures as currently described by your local authorities.
As a Nebraska nonprofit your registration can be converted to a donation, which will enable you to claim the entry fee you paid as a tax write-off if you choose.
We want to express how much we appreciate our runners. You've signed up for this race because you want to Run To Your Potential. On a course designed specifically for that. Pancake flat and lightning fast, asphalt country roads. That will all be back on Saturday April 24, 2021.
We want to thank our presenting sponsor Fathom Realty. And the support of our communities of Valley, Waterloo, Douglas County, and the Omaha Sports Commission. And our race committee, volunteers, and friends. We invite you to share your virtual run experience on our facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/Valley7LakesMarathon/

Valley, Nebraska is a hidden gem of small-town charm in Western Douglas County. Peacefully nestled between the Platte and Elkhorn rivers, just minutes west of Omaha. The Valley 7 Lakes Marathon was established to highlight the natural beauty of the community of Valley. In the process, we have found claim and fame as the "Flattest Closed Road Marathon in the World." Our race management staff has worked closely with civic and residential communities to ensure a one of a kind marathon, half marathon, and marathon relay. The City of Valley will open its arms to runners from all over the United States and the world, Saturday, April 25, 2020. We invite you to join us and run the race of your life!
