New Date: September 25, 2027
Dear Runners and Walkers,
We’re writing to share the new date of the Southern New Hampshire Health 5K Run/Walk was cancelled earlier this month because of safety concerns during inclement weather.
To accommodate scheduling challenges and preserve this event as an annual fall tradition, we have rescheduled the 5K for Saturday, September 25, 2027.
If you would like to participate, we can simply transfer your registration to next year’s event.
If you decide you're not ready to commit to an event so far out, we invite you to donate your paid registration fee to Legacy Trust, the charitable foundation of Southern New Hampshire Health.
Your donation will support needs including rides for patients to and from cancer treatments, training and career advancement for apprenticeships, our sharing meals program, and assistance to new mothers and babies.
Receiving a refund for your registration fee is also an option.
Whether you plan to participate, make a donation or not, we would like to personally thank you for having signed up for the event, and supporting us to take Local Steps for a Lasting Impact.

Due to a potential nor’easter expected to impact New England, Southern New Hampshire Health has made the difficult decision to postpone the Southern New Hampshire Health 5K Run/Walk scheduled for this Sunday, September 27, 2026. While weather is always changing, participant and volunteer safety is the most important aspect of putting on an event like this.
While this postponement is disappointing, we are extremely appreciative of your enthusiastic support for this charitable event. In the coming days, we’ll be in touch with a new date and will provide updates on the event page at Legacy Trust Events | Southern NH Health

This event brings together runners, walkers, families, colleagues, and neighbors of all abilities to move with purpose and support care close to home.
