About Damien

Damien Joseph Henderson was born on February 24, 2010.  He joined a family of four siblings and many other relatives that loved him. He was a happy, healthy baby with a lot of black hair. Only 6 1/2 weeks after his birth, he passed away from SIDS.

His family has raised money through various fundraisers. This year is the first walkathon they've organized with the hope of raising more money for SIDS services and research.

Proceeds from this event benefits the CJ Foundation for SIDS, a national not-for-profit devoted to eliminating the tragedy of sudden, unexpected infant deaths and early childhood deaths, supporting grieving families, advancing medical research, furthering parent and professional education, and advocating for the health and survival of all children. For more information about the CJ Foundation, visit www.cjsids.org.
