Runner's Alley Cisco Brewers Portsmouth Memorial Day 5K - NOW VIRTUAL!

Sun May 17 - Sun May 24

Attention Racers:

Thank you so much for your support of brain injury survivors through participation in this year's virtual Runner's Alley Cisco Brewers Portsmouth Memorial Day 5K. We wanted to provide an update on your earned swag.

Race t-shirts will be arriving mid-July, and we are currently working with Cisco Brewers and Runner's Alley to determine when best to host swag pick-up times with their newly opened operations. We anticipate pick-up to be held this summer as long as state and local permit us to do so. Should that change, we will find alternate ways to distribute your race swag.

Any questions or concerns can be addressed to or by calling 603-570-2026  Ext 230. Thank you for your understanding of our process this year!

Due to current social distancing recommendations, we have transitioned the 23rd Annual Runner’s Alley Cisco Brewers Portsmouth Memorial Day 5K to a Virtual Race in 2020. We will not be hosting our regular live event on May 24th as originally planned.

The Virtual 5K is now a fun week-long event allowing us to remain safe while still enjoying the opportunity to participate in this legacy race in 2020. Choose your registration level and then participate from the comfort of your home, neighborhood or favorite secluded route between Sunday, May 17th and Sunday, May 24th for the most unique 5K experience anywhere [or ever]!

  • Run your own course! It can be on a treadmill, on a trail, laps around your home, or in a stairwell.
  • Walk your own course! Wear what you want. Listen to music, a podcast, talk to your friends on your phone.
  • Bring your dog, or kid, or both! Make it a family event together while supporting a great cause.

NEW this year: you can invite others to support your participation. We have launched an optional peer-to-peer fundraising component to the event this year. When you register for the event, a special fundraising page is automatically created for you to share with your friends and family so they can support an organization you believe in too.

More details can be found on our FAQs page here.

This annual event is one of Krempels Center’s largest community fundraisers, having raised over a million dollars for the organization. Krempels Center is a nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of those living with brain injury. There are truly no other opportunities for brain injury survivors similar to what Krempels Center offers. In addition, due to their circumstances, 80% of Krempels Center members receive financial aid to attend programs, with 50% attending for free. All proceeds from race registrations go directly towards programming that helps survivors with skill building and social connection to improve their quality of life following brain injury.

Your support now through registrations and donations is more important than ever. On behalf of Krempels Center and our trusted partners and sponsors, we look forward to running with you virtually, and in-person again next year!

Anywhere! Please adhere to government-mandated social distancing orders in your community.
