The Seacoast Half Marathon is one of the longest-running half marathons in coastal New Hampshire. The course encompasses the beauty of the seacoast, from salt marsh views to the rocky coastline, fishing boats and pleasure craft, the historic village of New Castle, and views of traditional Portsmouth and one of its oldest neighborhoods. The race starts and finishes at Portsmouth High School, and offers long-sleeve, tech race shirts, finisher's medals, great post-race eats, and cash and merchandise awards for top runner and competitive walker finishers (M/F) and the top 3 finishers (M/F) in each age group. The Seacoast Marathon is unique in that all of the revenue (after race expenses) goes to local non-profit beneficiaries. This year's beneficiary is Cornerstone VNA.
