Description
Join us for a seaside race on a flat, partially shaded course through scenic Avon-by-the-Sea. Clocks and water stops at each mile. Shirts guaranteed to first 1,500 registered runners. All runners automatically entered in post-race raffle. Raffle prizes include season beach badges to the Avon-by-the-Sea beach. All proceeds benefit the Avon Volunteer First Aid Squad.
The Avon Volunteer First Aid Squad is a not-for-profit, 501c(3) organization that provides emergency medical and rescue services 24 hours a day, seven days a week, at no charge, to residents and visitors to Avon-by-the-Sea. It has provided these services since 1931. The squad is staffed by volunteer EMTs and relies entirely on charitable contributions for all operating expenses.
Schedule for Bib and Shirt Pick-up:
Early Number & Shirt Pickup (at Avon First Aid Building, 520 Main Street, Avon) Thursday May 29, 5:00 - 7:00 pm; and Friday May 30, 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
Late Number & Shirt Pickup (at the pavilion on the Boardwalk at Norwood Avenue, Avon) Saturday May 31, 7:00 - 8:30 am.
EXPECT LINES IF YOU PICK UP ON SATURDAY. Pick up Thursday or Friday if possible, to avoid the lines.
There will be NO bib / shirt pick-up on Wednesday.
