FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

I'm a pretty serious runner. Is this race suitable for my age/fitness? YES! We have tree-lined path around the Connell property, approximately 1.3 miles long, which can be looped around twice. All runners/joggers/walkers are welcome! Younger participants will be guided on a separate, smaller-distanced path.
Can I walk/run with my child? Yes, you may walk/run with your child; All ages are welcome!
Is the Color Powder safe? The powder is supplied by Color Blaze, and is made with high quality cornstarch, food dyes and baking soda, which are 100% FD&C and/or D&C approved.
What is the actual distance of the race? The loop is 1.3 miles long; You may run/walk two loops! We have a smaller path for our younger participants, around the Grove.
Am I guaranteed a T-shirt? Yes! But please make sure you register early (suggested by 9/15) so that supplies don't run out. If you register after this date, you may bring your own white t-shirt. Expect to get color-blasted!
What should I bring that day? Please bring an old towel, or something to protect your car seats, and wear old sneakers and clothing you wouldn't mind getting color-blasted!

The Kimberly Anne Wilson Foundation was established in 2018 to carry forward Kim's legacy of helping those who struggled with mental health challenges. Her passion was to guide and counsel young adults who faced these challenges by offering them hope and providing them with positive coping skills. She was especially determined to help students who found it difficult to go to school due to their anxiety, depression or any external factors that may inhibit a student's learning potential and growth.
In her honor, the Foundation has brought impactful presentations, programs and resources to many schools serving students in grades K-12. This Fun Run fundraiser is an opportunity to support this Foundation's continuing mission to reach out and touch the lives of as many students as we can! Thank you for your support and for joining us on this mission.
